Areas

Oropesa del Mar

A family resort town between Benicàssim and Peñíscola — calm beaches, marina and summer tourism.

Oropesa del Mar is a compact family resort on the Costa Azahar, sandwiched between the festival town of Benicàssim and the historic drama of Peñíscola. Its seven beaches are its main selling point.

The town has grown from a small fishing village into a modern resort with the large Marina d'Or development, but the historic centre retains its charm with narrow streets and a castle.

For British relocation planners, Oropesa offers a calmer, more family-oriented environment than Benicàssim, with better value property and a direct train link to Valencia.
