Relocation Preparation
Prepare for your move to Spain with clear written guidance.
From NIE preparation to arrival admin planning — written guidance, structured questionnaires and practical checklists to help you get ready before you go. Most early support is delivered by correspondence.
Who this is for
Our correspondence-first relocation preparation is designed for people who want practical written guidance, not overwhelming complexity. Here is who we typically work with.
Moving for lifestyle or retirement
British couples and families relocating to Spain for retirement, semi-retirement or a slower pace of life. Often without a clear picture of the post-Brexit admin involved.
Remote workers and freelancers
People working for UK or international clients or employers who want to live in Spain legally under the Digital Nomad Visa or other routes.
British property buyers becoming residents
Owners who have bought in Spain and now want to spend more time there — or who need their NIE to complete a purchase.
Partners of EU nationals
British nationals with EU family members who may have a different residency route available to them — and who need clear guidance on what that means in practice.
Problems we solve
- Not knowing where to start with NIE, residency or visa paperwork
- Finding conflicting or outdated information online
- Not being sure what has changed for British nationals since Brexit
- Wanting practical help without paying for legal advice you do not yet need
- Wanting a clear written plan for what to do after you arrive
- Arriving in Spain without a clear admin plan and scrambling to catch up

Learn more →The post-Brexit reality
British nationals are now third-country nationals in Spain. The free movement that made relocating to Europe straightforward before January 2021 no longer applies.
NIE applications, visa routes, healthcare registration and residency now all involve more steps, more paperwork and longer lead times than many people expect — particularly those who looked into moving Spain before Brexit and assumed the process would be the same.
This is not cause for alarm. Tens of thousands of British nationals have successfully moved to Spain since 2021. But it does require more preparation, earlier, than most people realise when they first start planning.
We help you understand exactly what is needed for your situation — no more, no less.
How it works
Tell us your situation
Send us an enquiry explaining where you are in your plans — whether you are thinking about moving, already decided, or already in Spain and behind on registrations.
We discuss what support makes sense
We reply personally. If your situation calls for a specific package or a readiness review first, we will say so. If you need a qualified immigration lawyer from the start, we will tell you that too.
We agree a support package
We work to fixed packages with clear scope. No surprise extras, no open-ended retainers unless specifically agreed.
We prepare everything in writing
Document organisation, written process guides, admin planning packs and clear next-step plans in plain English. We do the preparation work — delivered by email and written report — so you can focus on the move itself.
You arrive ready
Or you register from a clearer starting point if you are already there. You know what appointments you need, what documents to bring, and what comes next. The paperwork is prepared. You arrive with a clear plan.
What we do and do not do
- We provide preparation support, document organisation and written guidance — not legal advice.
- We are not immigration lawyers and cannot submit visa or residency applications on your behalf.
- Visa and NIE approval decisions rest with Spanish authorities. No one can guarantee outcomes.
- For Spanish tax residency, wealth declarations and cross-border tax planning, you need a qualified tax adviser.
- For formal legal property checks and conveyancing, you need a qualified solicitor or notary.
- Early launch support is delivered mainly by correspondence — email, questionnaires, written reports and checklists.
- We will always tell you clearly when you have reached the edge of what we can responsibly help with.
