Digital Nomad Visa Preparation Support
For remote workers, freelancers and company-linked clients who want to live in Spain while working for non-Spanish clients or employers.
Fixed price, no hidden fees
£125
What this is
Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (DNV) is designed for people who work remotely for clients or employers outside Spain. It is a relatively new route introduced under the Startups Law.
We help you understand if the DNV fits your work structure, what evidence you need from your employer or clients, and how to organise the application.
This is a more complex route than the NLV because it involves employment evidence, social security considerations, tax structuring questions and — for freelancers — client concentration rules.
What you receive
- DNV suitability screen (employee vs freelancer vs company-owner mapping)
- Employer/client evidence organiser (what letters, contracts, payslips, tax records)
- Social security and tax question flagging (when is A1 needed? When does tax residence shift?)
- UGE vs consulate route notes (depending on where you apply from)
- Spanish-client percentage check (DNV requires majority non-Spanish clients)
- Document checklist per applicant type
- Red flag screening (borderline cases, complex structures, prior refusals)
- One written DNV Preparation Pack delivered by email
- One bounded follow-up round within 7 days
What is not included
We are clear about this because it protects you and it protects us.
- Legal advice on employment structures or company setups
- Tax advice on UK-Spain double taxation or social security coordination
- Guaranteeing visa approval
- Completing application forms for you
- Negotiating with employers or clients on your behalf
Who this is for
- Remote employees with a UK or non-Spanish employer
- Freelancers and contractors with majority non-Spanish clients
- Company owners/directors who can show sufficient remote work structure
- People who understand the DNV requires ongoing compliance (tax, social security)
Who this is not for
- People whose work does not meet the remote-work definition
- People whose client base is primarily Spanish (this may disqualify or complicate)
- People who want this to be a simple "just fill in a form" route (it is not)
- People who have not yet discussed their plans with their employer (they should do this first)

Common questions
What counts as 'remote work' for the DNV?
The core requirement is that you work for clients or an employer outside Spain, using digital tools, and that the work can be done from anywhere. We help map your specific situation against this requirement.
Does my employer need to agree?
Yes. You need evidence from your employer confirming you can work remotely from Spain. This is the single most common obstacle. We assess what evidence you have and what you still need.
What's the social security situation?
Complex. Depending on your structure, you may need an A1 certificate from the UK, or you may need to register with Spanish social security. We flag the question but do not give social security advice — we refer to specialists.
Can I have Spanish clients too?
The DNV requires that a majority of your income comes from non-Spanish clients. We help you calculate whether your client mix meets this threshold.
