Areas

Deltebre

The beach town of the Ebro Delta — flat, quiet and surrounded by rice fields and wetland nature.

Deltebre is the southernmost town in Terres de l'Ebre, sitting at the heart of the Ebro Delta Natural Park. Flat, green and quiet, it is a world away from the high-rise resorts of the Costa Blanca.

With around 12,000 residents, Deltebre is a small municipality where rice farming, birdwatching and cycling are central to daily life. The beaches are wide, natural and uncrowded.

For British relocation planners, Deltebre offers some of the lowest property prices in Catalonia, a genuinely rural coastal setting and direct access to one of Europe's most important wetland ecosystems.
