Malaga

Spains fastest-growing coastal city -- a real working city with a major airport, high-speed rail, university and growing digital-nomad community.

Malaga is a real, working Spanish city -- not a resort town built around tourists. It has Spains fourth-busiest airport, a major seaport, one of Spains largest universities, and is increasingly recognised as a cultural and digital-nomad hub. The Picasso Museum, Pompidou Centre, and revitalised historic centre have transformed its image from package-holiday gateway to genuine cultural destination.

For British relocation planners, Malaga is distinctive because it offers city-scale services (hospitals, bilingual schools, fast internet, coworking spaces) with a Mediterranean climate and lower cost than Barcelona or Madrid. The British community is growing but less concentrated than in Torrevieja or Fuengirola -- more young professionals, remote workers, and families than retirees.
